The evergreen gossip in Bollywood is the speculation of Salman Khan’s marriage. Voted the most eligible bachelor in Asia more than once, Salman Khan is the reigning king of Bollywood. ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is rumoured to be dating a Romanian model, Lulia Vantur. Bollywood News in Hindi reports that the two are actually engaged and are slated to tie the nuptial in December 2015. This is the news millions of fans and followers are waiting anxiously.
The biggest name in Bollywood is always in news for his philanthropic activities. Earlier this year, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan had categorically stated to a reporter of that marriage is possible only when he is acquitted from all the pending cases.
So how did Salman and Lulia Vantur get together? According an industry insider, Vantur is secretly engaged to the “Kick” star and actually stays with the family in Mumbai whenever she is in the country for modelling and acting assignments. Both met in 2011 in Dublin during the shooting of “Ek Tha Tiger”. Vantur actually made a cameo in an item number for a movie produced by Salman Khan’s brother-in law, Atul Agnihotri last year.
Lulia Vantur is not the first lady to be speculated to be marrying the star. Some notable names from the industry have been linked to Salman Khan. The 48-year old ‘controversial’ star dated Somy Ali, Sangeeta Bijlani, Aishwarya Rai and Katrina Kaif . All of them were desirously expected to be getting married to ‘Prem’. Now it seems that the stars are finally aligned for the best to happen.
Salman Khan is known to throw hints at his lady love to shower attention. The marriage is never a touchy topic for the Bollywood rock star. The Big Boss host remarked last year that he would be getting married to a foreigner because he is done dating all Indian girls. The Being Human entrepreneur has a cosmopolitan family with a very secular approach towards life. His father is a Pathan and mother is a Sindhi. His second mother is a Catholic while brother-in-law is a Punjabi. With so much diversity in the family, a foreigner is likely to complete the family portrait.
Just recently, Salman’s sister, Arpita Khan Sharma took to Twitters and denied all speculations about his brother’s engagement to Lulia or even plans of getting hitched to her. For now, the engagement news is just a gossip. Fans are eagerly awaiting the formal announcement from the Khan bastion.
